Which lululemon Leggings Have Pockets? (2022)

Are you sick of holding your phone while you’re at the gym? Do you periodically forget your phone on a workout machine when you switch to a new one? If you answered YES to any of those questions, you have come to the right place! We are here to break down and analyze which lululemon leggings have pockets and which ones would be best for you!

Swift Speed Leggings

swift speed leggings

Price: $118 – $128
Lengths: 17” crop, 21” crop, 23“ crop, 23” crop brushed luxtreme, 25”, 28”, 28” brushed luxtreme, 31”
Designed for: Running
Material: Pockets: 89% nylon, 11% elastane
Body: 69% nylon, 31% Lycra elastane

All of the lengths and variations of the Swift Speed Leggings come standard with three pockets: 2 side pockets, as well as a bonus, zippered back pocket for secure storage like your credit card, driver’s license, or key. The Swift Speed leggings are tighter and more compressive than the Fast and Free Leggings. The waistband dips down a bit which I didn’t like because it made my belly pooch out slightly. I did not like how the side pockets didn’t lay flat on my body and you could see the outline of them through the pants.

Invigorate Leggings

lululemon leggings with pockets

Price: $59 (ON SALE)
Lengths: 17”, 23”, 25”, 28”, 31”
Designed for: Training
Material: 77% nylon, 23% Lycra elastane

All of the lengths and variations of the Invigorate Leggings come standard with three pockets: 2 side pockets as well as a bonus hidden waistband pocket in the back. The Invigorate leggings are constructed with the Everlux fabric which feels like a combination of the buttery soft align leggings and the compression and support you would get from the Wunder Under leggings. I liked the stitching detail around the booty, which helps accentuate your shape. I also liked how these stayed up very well on my waist.

I don’t usually like a seam along the waistband but it really helps keep them in place when you are training. These leggings are very supportive. The material keeps you cool even during the most intense training like Cross fit or HIIT. One downfall of the Invigorate leggings would be the price tag of $118 – $138.

Fabric Details
• Sweat wicking
• Fastest drying fabric
• Highly breathable
• Supportive
• Feels cool and sleek on the inside and brushed on outside
• Four-way stretch
• Added lycra® fiber for stretch and shape retention

Design Details
• Continuous drawcord to help them stay in place during intense training

Power Thru Leggings

which lululemon leggings have pockets

Price: $69 (ON SALE)
Lengths: 23” and 25”
Designed for: Training
Material: Pockets: 89% nylon, 11% elastane
Body: 72% nylon, 28% Lycra elastane

All of the lengths and variations of the Power Thru Leggings come standard with 2 side pockets. These leggings have a nice and smooth fabric – similar to the luxtreme material that lululemon uses in many of it their products. I personally do not like how compressive they are in the waist…so I would definitely size up. One feature that was strange about the Power Thru leggings is they have a “double-layered” fabric – so 2 layers of fabric. You can feel the fabric moving against each other which I did not like but it does make them warmer and extra supportive.

Fabric Details
• Abrasion resistant – so they won’t snag
• Four-way stretch
• Sweat wicking
• Quick drying
• Added lycra® fiber for stretch and shape retention

Design Details
• Continuous drawcord to help them stay in place during intense training

Pocket Details

  • 2 side drop-in pockets

Align Leggings

lululemon align leggings with pockets

Price: $118 – $138
Lengths: 23”, 25”, 28”, 31”
Designed for: Low-impact workouts like yoga (or whenever you want to feel comfortable)
Material: 80% nylon, 20% Lycra elastane

Most Lululemon leggings either come standard with pockets or not. The Align leggings do not come standard with pockets. However, the style has become so popular that they decided to add another variation that does include pockets.

When I saw that they had these I was excited since the Aligns are my favorite lululemon legging. However, I couldn’t believe that they hiked the price from $98 to $138! An extra $40 dollars seems like a lot especially since all they added was a couple of pockets and a little more stitching. When I put them on, the first thing I noticed was that they run slightly bigger than the original. It wasn’t necessarily enough to size down but it was noticeable.

One feature that they changed slightly from the original was the infamous v-shape stitching in the back that shapes your booty so well. It is still there but less “pointy” so it doesn’t define your booty as well. The material is the exact same as the original Aligns which is expected.

Fabric Details
• Breathable
• Buttery soft Nulu fabric – feels weightless
• Four-way stretch
• Sweat wicking
• Quick drying
• Added lycra fiber for stretch and shape retention

Design Details
• Continuous drawcord to help them stay in place during intense training

• Two side drop-in pockets
• Back drop-in pockets on the waistband

Fast and Free Leggings

lululemon leggings with pockets

Price: $118 – $138
Lengths: 19”, 19” reflective crop, 23”, 25”, 25” brushed Nulux fabric, 28“, 28” brushed Nulux fabric
Designed for: Running
Material: 84% nylon, 16% Lycra elastane

The lululemon Fast and Free leggings come standard with 2 deep side pockets as well as 5 small pockets in the back along the waistband. These leggings have a lot of compression since they are designed for running, making them a little tight so I would size up. However, for being athletic leggings they look really good. The side pockets help your shape nicely. Even though there is a small seam at the top of the waistband they are still comfortable and don’t squeeze into your waist as much as I thought. They have the seam there so you can adjust them to guarantee you won’t have to pull them up when running.

Fabric Details
• Weightless coverage that passes the squat test
• Four-way stretch
• Quick drying
• Sweat wicking
• Feels sleek and cool to the touch
• Added Lycra® fiber for stretch and shape retention

Design Details
• Continuous drawcord to help them stay in place while you are running

Pocket Details
• Two side drop-in pockets
• Five small waistband pockets in the back
